Trendyol Ads Guide: Ad Management That Drives Sales

The right budget, the right product: turn ad spend into profit, not just sales

Trendyol Ads is a paid promotion system that boosts your sales by featuring your store in search results and on product pages. In 2026, the minimum budget for product ads starts at 10 TL per product per day, and cost is calculated per click (CPC). With the right budget and ACoS management, advertising can grow your sales volume without eating into your profit margin.

Quick answer

To run ads on Trendyol, just go to the Ad Management panel, choose the product or store ad type, and set a daily budget; in 2026 the minimum budget for product ads starts at 10 TL per product per day, and cost is calculated per click (CPC = budget spent ÷ clicks). Keep your ACoS below your profit margin and advertising will grow sales without eating into profit.

How to Run Ads on Trendyol: Step-by-Step Setup

To start running ads, go to the Ad Management tab in the Trendyol Partner panel, then select 'Create Product Ad.' Mark the products you want to add to the campaign - you can select up to 50 products per campaign. You set a separate daily budget for each product; as of 2026, the minimum budget starts at 10 TL per product per day. You then choose the campaign date range: the system accepts a minimum duration of 1 day, but 3 days or more is recommended to collect meaningful data. Once approved, the campaign goes live within a few minutes and starts being deducted from your ad balance.

Before you can publish ads, you first need to open an ad balance; this balance isn't a separate payment, it's an amount transferred from your store's sales balance. Trendyol only opens the ad tab to stores that have been actively selling for at least 1 month - in newer stores, the ad tab may appear inactive until that period has passed. To load balance, you transfer the desired amount from your sales balance to your ad balance via the Ad Management > Balance tab; the transfer takes effect immediately and you don't need to issue a separate invoice.

Trendyol Ad Types: Product, Store, Influencer, and CPAS

Trendyol doesn't have just one ad model; you can choose from four different ad types depending on your product and goal. Most sellers start with product ads because they're simple to set up, low-budget, and their results can be measured within a few days. Store ads, on the other hand, highlight your entire storefront rather than a single product and are more of a long-term investment for brand awareness. Influencer and CPAS (Facebook/Instagram) ads are designed to draw traffic from outside Trendyol onto the platform, and they generally work best when combined with product ads. If your budget is limited, it's less risky to start with product ads first, see the data, and then move on to the other types.

  • Product Ads — Featured in search results and on product pages; works on a CPC model, with up to 50 products selectable per campaign.
  • Store Ads — Highlights your storefront and brand page; used for brand awareness and driving traffic within your store.
  • Influencer Ads — Product promotion through Trendyol's partnered content creators; conversion is especially strong in fashion and cosmetics.
  • Facebook/Instagram (CPAS) Ads — Dynamic product ads run on Meta platforms using your Trendyol catalog; they send traffic directly to your Trendyol product page.

How Much Do Trendyol Ads Cost? CPC, Budget, and Deductions

Don't think of ad cost as a single line item; there are three separate deductions, and they're often confused with each other. The ad fee is calculated per click (CPC) - the charge applies even if someone clicks your product without buying; CPC = budget spent ÷ number of clicks, and it varies by category. Separately, regardless of sales, Trendyol's service fee is a flat 3.49% (on the sale amount, excluding VAT) across all categories. The category commission, meanwhile, varies by product and averages 8% or more. So when a product sells, the ad cost, service fee, and commission all come out of your profit margin together; if you don't account for each of them separately, an advertised product can end up losing money.

Item Rate / Amount How It's Calculated
Ad CPC (cost per click) Varies by category Budget spent ÷ number of clicks
Minimum daily budget 10 TL / product (2026) Set individually for each product added to the ad
Trendyol service fee 3.49% (excl. VAT) On the sale amount, independent of advertising
Category commission ~8% and up (variable) On the sale amount, excluding VAT
Campaign duration Min. 1 day 3+ days recommended (for performance data)

ACoS and ROAS: How to Manage Your Ad Budget

The only way to know whether your ad spend is profitable is to track ACoS and ROAS. ACoS (Advertising Cost of Sale) is the ratio of ad spend to the revenue that spend generated; ROAS is the inverse, showing how many TL in revenue each 1 TL spent returns. When setting up a campaign, start with a low bid, collect data for 3-5 days, then gradually raise the bid on products with high conversion rates and cut back immediately on weak performers. For products with poor conversion, it's cheaper to review the images, title, and price first rather than increasing the budget - advertising doesn't fix a bad listing, it only increases its visibility and repeats the low conversion at a larger scale.

Aim to keep your ACoS below your product's profit margin: ACoS = (ad spend ÷ revenue from ads) × 100. If your profit margin is 25%, keeping ACoS in the 15-18% range grows both sales and profit together.

Repeating this calculation by hand for every product becomes unmanageable across dozens of SKUs. Ecomiro's AI Price Suggestion module factors in ad cost, commission, and service fee together to recommend a sale price based on your target ACoS, so an advertised product never drops below its profit margin.

Which Products Should You Advertise? How to Measure Conversion

Advertising every product spreads your budget thin and you won't get meaningful results from any of them; picking the right products is half the battle in ad success. Prioritize products that already have organic sales and healthy stock levels and return rates - trying to revive a product with zero sales through advertising alone is far more costly and usually ends in disappointment. If you want to test a new-season product, start with a small budget. Track conversion daily from the Reports screen in the Trendyol Ads panel: compare clicks, add-to-carts, and sales counts to decide which product deserves the budget.

  • Choose products with ample stock and low return rates - ad budget spent on an out-of-stock product is wasted.
  • Add ads to products that already have organic sales; reviving a zero-sales product through advertising alone is much harder and more expensive.
  • For new-season/campaign products, keep the CPC high for the first 7 days, then gradually lower it based on ACoS.
  • Monitor click, add-to-cart, and sales conversion daily from the Trendyol Ads panel > Reports section.
  • For products whose conversion rate drops below 1%, cut the budget and review the bid.

Common Advertising Mistakes and Optimization Tips

The most common mistake is setting up a campaign and never checking on it again. CPC and ACoS change daily based on category, season, and competitive density; if you don't check weekly, the budget can quietly drain away into a low-converting product. The second mistake is giving every product the same daily budget - it's more efficient to allocate the bulk of your budget to your top 5-10 sellers and give the rest a small test budget. The third mistake is limiting the campaign duration to 1 day; the system can't optimize bids without enough data, so you need to keep it running for at least 3 days. The fourth mistake is forgetting to shut down the campaign at the end of the season, which leads to wasted budget.

To open an ad balance, your store must have been actively selling for at least 1 month; that's why the ad tab appears inactive on newer stores - this isn't a bug, it activates automatically once the period is up.

Manually tracking CPC and ACoS across dozens of products takes time; Ecomiro's Analytics & Reports module automatically calculates ACoS per campaign and flags underperforming products.
