Turkish VAT rates
The standard VAT rate in Turkey is 20%. Reduced rates of 10% and 1% apply to certain food, health and basic goods. Always confirm your product's exact rate with your accountant.
How it works
To add VAT: Gross = Net × (1 + rate). To extract VAT from a VAT-included price: Net = Gross ÷ (1 + rate), and VAT = Gross − Net. Example at 20%: a ₺120 gross price contains ₺100 net and ₺20 VAT.
